Recycled Blankets & Organic Towels

205 products · minimums from 48 · 7–15 business days

Textiles are heavy, which cuts both ways: a blanket represents a lot of material, so switching it to recycled fibre moves real tonnage, and it also carries meaningful shipping weight. Recycled fleece — typically rPET spun and brushed — is now standard across the better lines and is visually indistinguishable from virgin.

Towels split differently. Organic cotton is the usual sustainable option and it is genuinely water-intensive to grow; recycled cotton blends reduce that but produce a shorter-pile, less absorbent towel. If absorbency matters — gym, beach, golf — the honest answer is often organic cotton bought in a heavier weight so it lasts longer.

Minimum is around 48 pieces with 7–15 business days production. Rush production is available on many items in this range.

Frequently asked questions

What is recycled fleece made from?
Post-consumer PET bottles, spun into polyester yarn and brushed to a fleece nap. A standard throw uses the equivalent of roughly 20 to 40 half-litre bottles depending on size and weight. Performance is equivalent to virgin fleece.
Do recycled fleece blankets shed microplastics?
All polyester fleece sheds microfibres in the wash, recycled or not — recycling the input does not change that. Washing less often, on a cool cycle, and using a filter bag reduces it. For a genuinely fibre-shed-free option, cotton or wool is the alternative.
Which decoration works on blankets?
Embroidery on a corner is the standard and looks best on fleece. Woven labels suit premium throws. Large-area print is possible on flat-woven blankets but not on a raised fleece nap.
