What "eco-friendly" means on this site

There is no legal definition of an eco-friendly promotional product, so the category fills up with ordinary merchandise that has the word "eco" somewhere in the supplier description. Everything listed here had to name a material or a certification first — recycled content and rPET, bamboo, cork, organic and recycled cotton, wheat straw, hemp and jute, seed paper, FSC-certified paper, GRS-certified recycled content, ocean-bound plastic. A product that cleared the wording test but had nothing we could actually print on the page was left out.

The claims are shown as claims. For GRS, FSC and other certified items we can supply the certificate reference and the audited recycled percentage with the quote. For everything else we pass on the supplier's stated claim without converting catalogue language into a percentage — and you should be wary of anyone who does. Typical programmes: conference and trade-show giveaways, employee onboarding and welcome kits, client gifts, Earth Day campaigns, and sustainability-reporting gifts where the material has to be defensible. Minimums start low and vary by decoration method; most orders ship in about two weeks, and rush options exist on a lot of the range. One thing worth saying out loud: the most sustainable order is the smaller one. Material substitution helps, but cutting the quantity beats every substitution available, costs nothing, and is the number that holds up best in a sustainability report. We would rather sell you 400 items people keep than 1,000 that end up in a bin.
