The Global Recycled Standard is the strongest recycled-content claim available in promotional products. It tracks recycled input through every stage of production and issues a transaction certificate stating the verified recycled percentage — the document you attach to a procurement file or a sustainability report when "made from recycled materials" is not going to be enough.

GRS also carries social and chemical requirements for the facilities in the chain, which is why it is a stronger claim than RCS, its content-only sibling. For anything that has to survive scrutiny, this is the tag to filter on. If you need the certificate references with the quote, say so when you enquire and we will request them from the supplier.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between GRS and RCS?
RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) verifies recycled content and chain of custody only. GRS adds social, environmental and chemical requirements for the processing facilities, and requires a minimum recycled proportion. GRS is the stronger of the two.
Can I get the certificate with my order?
For GRS certified lines, yes — transaction certificates naming the recycled percentage and certified supplier can be requested. Ask at quote stage rather than after delivery, since the certificate is issued against the shipment.
