Seed Kits & Plantable Giveaways

118 products · minimums from 250 · 5–12 business days

Seed paper is the only promotional product designed to stop existing. It is recycled paper pulp with seeds embedded; the recipient plants it, the paper breaks down, and what is left is a plant rather than an object in a drawer. That makes it the natural centrepiece of an Earth Day campaign and the strongest answer to the objection that all promotional products are waste.

What to check before ordering. Seeds have a viability window — usually around a year — so this is not stock to buy ahead. Wildflower mixes should be regionally appropriate; a generic mix shipped nationwide can include species that are invasive somewhere. And print on seed paper is soft-edged by nature: bold single-colour artwork works, fine serif type does not.

Grow kits — a small planter, growing medium and seeds — are the higher-value version, and they suit desk-gift and welcome-kit programmes. Minimum around 250 pieces, production 5–12 business days. Rush production is available on selected items.

Frequently asked questions

How does seed paper work?
Seeds are embedded in recycled paper pulp during manufacture. Planted under a thin layer of soil and kept moist, the paper degrades and the seeds germinate, usually within one to three weeks. Nothing is left to throw away.
How long do the seeds stay viable?
Roughly a year when stored cool and dry, less in heat or humidity. Order close to when you will distribute rather than holding stock, and tell recipients to plant within the season.
Can seed paper be printed in full colour?
Yes, with soy or vegetable-based inks, but expect softer edges than on smooth stock — the surface is fibrous and textured. Bold logos and simple type reproduce well; fine detail and small serif text do not.
What is the minimum order for seed paper?
Around 250 pieces for printed seed paper cards, since the cost sits in die and print setup rather than the material. Grow kits and plantable pens run lower minimums.
