ActiveMesh rPET Backpack

Made from sturdy polyester with recycled content, this backpack features a spacious main compartment, dual side mesh pockets for bottles or quick-access items, and a front zippered mesh pocket for smaller essentials. Polyester webbing and reinforced components provide added durability, while the polyester and pearl cotton lining helps give the bag structure and light cushioning. Finished with PP hardware, a zinc alloy zipper pull, elastic detailing, and a secure PP button. 12" W x 6" D x 15 1/2" H

rPET is polyester spun from post-consumer plastic bottles. It keeps bottles out of landfill and takes roughly half the energy of virgin polyester, but it is still plastic: it sheds microfibres in the wash and is not biodegradable. Ask for the recycled percentage, because "contains recycled content" can mean anything from 5% to 100%.
Claims are taken from supplier product data. Certified items (GRS, FSC) can supply certificate references with a quote; uncertified claims are the supplier's own statement.
