The Bamboo Recycled Polycarbonate UV400 Sunglasses are constructed of sustainable bamboo and post-industrial recycled polycarbonate. The durable drop-tested lens provides UV400 sun protection and are packaged with a protective film on the lens to prevent scratching while in transit. Complies with ANSI, Prop 65. 5.75" L x 6" W x 1.875" H

Bamboo grows fast, needs no replanting and little irrigation. The caveats are worth knowing: boards and utensils are strips glued together, so the adhesive is not bamboo, and bamboo fibre textiles are chemically processed viscose. Most of it ships from Asia, so freight offsets part of the gain.
