Cork is bark, stripped from a living tree every nine years or so; the tree keeps growing and keeps absorbing carbon. It is one of the few genuinely renewable harvests in this catalog. It is also light, water resistant and takes a laser mark cleanly. Most of it comes from Portugal, so factor in the freight.
