Its 8-panel pongee canopy with UV coating is made from recycled materials (RPET) and provides 38" diameter reliable protection for both sunny and rainy weather. It is built with a durable double black-coated metal shaft and frame, along with flexible lightweight fiberglass ribs for enhanced wind resistance. A finely crafted schima superba wood handle offers a natural, comfortable grip, paired with a wrist strap for secure carrying. Finished with a matching color sleeve, this compact umbrella with a folded size of 11" x 2 1/8" dia. is designed for easy storage, portability, and everyday use. rPET is polyester spun from post-consumer plastic bottles. It keeps bottles out of landfill and takes roughly half the energy of virgin polyester, but it is still plastic: it sheds microfibres in the wash and is not biodegradable. Ask for the recycled percentage, because "contains recycled content" can mean anything from 5% to 100%.
