Constructed of high quality Moso® bamboo; ecologically green alternative to wood; strong, dense and versatile. Easy on knife blades. Clean with warm water with a mild soap; treat with mineral oil to preserve and extend the board's life. Complies with Prop 65. 15" L x 11" W x 3/4" H

Bamboo grows fast, needs no replanting and little irrigation. The caveats are worth knowing: boards and utensils are strips glued together, so the adhesive is not bamboo, and bamboo fibre textiles are chemically processed viscose. Most of it ships from Asia, so freight offsets part of the gain.
