Along with recycled polyester and a recycled zipper tape detail, this packable men's jacket also features a 100% polyester mesh knit body lining for added comfort. It's both wind and water resistant to help protect you from the elements and includes a roll-away hood to shield you from rain and snow. Additional features of this eco-friendly men's jacket include breathable back vents and color-pop details. rPET is polyester spun from post-consumer plastic bottles. It keeps bottles out of landfill and takes roughly half the energy of virgin polyester, but it is still plastic: it sheds microfibres in the wash and is not biodegradable. Ask for the recycled percentage, because "contains recycled content" can mean anything from 5% to 100%.
