The Oriole rPET Drawstring Bag includes an open main compartment with a cinching rope closure and reinforced bottom corner tabs. This bag is manufactured from 100% recycled 210D polyester, repurposing used water bottles to help reduce plastic waste. rPET is polyester spun from post-consumer plastic bottles. It keeps bottles out of landfill and takes roughly half the energy of virgin polyester, but it is still plastic: it sheds microfibres in the wash and is not biodegradable. Ask for the recycled percentage, because "contains recycled content" can mean anything from 5% to 100%.
Claims are taken from supplier product data. Certified items (GRS, FSC) can supply certificate references with a quote; uncertified claims are the supplier's own statement.
