The Recycled Cotton Drawstring bag features a cinch closure and helps promote corporate social responsibility. This custom recycled cotton drawstring bag is manufactured from pre-consumer waste generated by factories during the fabric cutting process. Approximately 70%-80% recycled cotton and 20%-30% rPET. Through a partnership with 1% For The Planet, one percent of sales of this and all EcoSmart products will be donated to nonprofits dedicated to protecting the planet. 0.01" D x 15.00" W x 16.50" H

rPET is polyester spun from post-consumer plastic bottles. It keeps bottles out of landfill and takes roughly half the energy of virgin polyester, but it is still plastic: it sheds microfibres in the wash and is not biodegradable. Ask for the recycled percentage, because "contains recycled content" can mean anything from 5% to 100%.
Claims are taken from supplier product data. Certified items (GRS, FSC) can supply certificate references with a quote; uncertified claims are the supplier's own statement.
