Reprise RPET Textured Journal With Amazing Stone Paper is made from eco-friendly materials that reduce waste and use less chemicals. Sustainably recycled 80gsm stone paper uses a construction waste, calcium carbonate, which makes he pages naturally water-resistant, tear-resistant, & very smooth. The Recycled PET cover with an earthy texture on a bound journal with 80 sheets (160 pages) and includes a ribbon bookmark. Complies with Prop 65. 5.75" L x 0.5" W x 8.25" H

rPET is polyester spun from post-consumer plastic bottles. It keeps bottles out of landfill and takes roughly half the energy of virgin polyester, but it is still plastic: it sheds microfibres in the wash and is not biodegradable. Ask for the recycled percentage, because "contains recycled content" can mean anything from 5% to 100%.
